Copy the one-liner below and run it once on a fresh Linux server or WSL to complete installation
curl -fsSL https://YOUR-DOMAIN/install.sh | bash
Supports Debian / Ubuntu / CentOS / Rocky / AlmaLinux / Fedora / WSL. The installer auto-detects your system, installs dependencies, deploys and starts the panel.
Debian / Ubuntu
Just run the command above — the script installs dependencies via apt automatically.
CentOS / Rocky / AlmaLinux
Just run the command above — the script installs dependencies via dnf/yum automatically.
Fedora
Just run the command above — the script installs dependencies via dnf automatically.
Windows (WSL)
Run the command above in your WSL Linux distro's terminal (auto falls back to background mode without systemd).
Manual Installation
- Install Python3 and venv:
apt-get install -y python3 python3-venv python3-pip git - Download the code:
mkdir -p /opt/ssh-everywhere && curl -fsSL https://ssheverywhere.com/download/ssh-everywhere.tar.gz | tar xz -C /opt/ssh-everywhere - Install dependencies:
cd /opt/ssh-everywhere && python3 -m venv venv && venv/bin/pip install -r requirements.txt - Start the panel:
PORT=5501 venv/bin/python3 app.py(or run it as a systemd service)
How to Uninstall
curl -fsSL https://YOUR-DOMAIN/uninstall.sh -o uninstall.sh && bash uninstall.sh
The uninstall script automatically stops and removes the panel service (systemd), then deletes the installation directory.
For safety, the script first verifies that the directory really is a SSH Everywhere install (it contains VERSION and app.py) and refuses to delete critical system directories; interactive mode asks for confirmation.
--yes : Add this option for non-interactive or scripted uninstalls to skip the confirmation prompt (safety checks still apply).
--keep-data : Back up data (server configs / database) as a tar archive before uninstalling.
--dir <Folder> : If you changed the directory during installation, specify it with this option (default: /opt/ssh-everywhere).
